I’ve been a professional animator for the past four years, working with some of the biggest companies in the UK on some of the most exciting projects! My credits include Disney's live action Snow White, Apple TV Prehistoric Planet and CBBC Silverpoint.
It's all about working out the shot. Think of it like creating a blueprint before building a house.
In animation, planning involves the blocking, a rough pass that maps out what happens next.
This is where we refine the animation, making it look clear and polished so we can understand what the character or shot is trying to convey. At this stage, you should have a good sense of where the shot is heading.
This is the polishing stage, where we make sure the shot looks its very best, ready for film, television, or wherever the animation is to be shown.
